# Dashboard changelog

> What changed in the ReclaimTime dashboard, by month. Dashboard changes apply immediately and need no client update.

Dashboard changes take effect as soon as they are deployed. Nothing needs to be installed and no desktop client has to be updated for them.

## August 2026

**Fixed**

* Accounts are no longer saved without an organisation. Affected accounts were repaired.
* To stop it happening again, administrator accounts are created as Enterprise Admin rather than Super Admin, so the organisation is set automatically. See [Roles and permissions](/admin/roles).

## July 2026

**Added**

* **Move a group.** A group can be moved to a different parent. Every group beneath it and every user assignment follows automatically.
* **New Group** now uses the currently selected group as the parent, with a dropdown to change it.

**Changed**

* The Workforce list was re-laid out so user details, groups and last login stay readable at smaller window widths.
* The user create and edit form was reorganised. Role is set first, and the fields that only apply to standard users, such as single sign-on, tracking and the working schedule, are hidden when creating a supervisor or an admin.
* **Last Login** for a standard user now shows their last desktop client sign-in rather than a dashboard sign-in they never make. Supervisors and admins still show their dashboard sign-in. See [Accounts](/admin/accounts).

**Fixed**

* **Require password change** forces a new password at the next sign-in for supervisors and admins.

## May 2026

**Added**

* Groups can be renamed and given a description directly from the Accounts page, using **Edit Group**.
* The group description appears in brackets after the group name throughout the dashboard. It is a good place for the supervisor's name.

**Fixed**

* The group tree now renders every level of nesting with correct indentation and working expand and collapse.

## March 2026

**Added: the Versions page**

* Every standard user with their last seen date and current client version.
* Four statuses: **Up to date**, **Outdated**, **Critical** and **Never seen**, driven by the Latest Version and Minimum Version numbers set per organisation.
* Sorted with the most urgent first, so critical users are at the top.
* Click a status card to filter to it. Search by name, email or group.
* A mail button on each row opens a pre-filled draft in your own mail client, using one of three templates depending on the person's status.
* CSV download.

**Added: dashboard V3**

The dashboard was rebuilt.

* A new interface and navigation.
* Interactive charts and a per-user breakdown covering active, meeting and total time.
* A visual organisation chart of the group structure.
* **Simulate a supervisor** for troubleshooting a supervisor's view. See [Impersonation and the access log](/admin/impersonation-and-access-log).
* Organisation defaults for timezone, working days and hours, and navigation layout.
* Working schedules configurable per user.
* CSV export of the last seen list including client version.
* Faster loading, and search and filtering that no longer loops through repeated results.
* Data export rewritten to stream a day at a time, so a long range no longer times out.
