The three parts
ReclaimTime shares a codebase with FocusMe, our consumer focus application. The ReclaimTime build is the enterprise variant: it signs in through the Windows account rather than a personal one, it reports to your organisation, and its interface is locked by default.
Roles
Every account has one role. The role decides what the dashboard shows and what the person can change.
The dashboard requires the Supervisor role or higher. A standard user who tries to sign in is refused, which is why a supervisor who is also tracked needs two accounts. The full breakdown is on Roles and permissions.
What ReclaimTime records
Each window session produces one row: the application name, the website if it is a browser, the window title, when the session started and ended, and separate figures for focused, visible, typing and meeting time. Nothing else is captured. There are no screenshots, no keystroke contents, and no webcam or microphone access. Websites and applications that are not on your organisation’s corporate list are recorded without the employee’s name and aggregated to group level instead. See Corporate and non-corporate targets for how that decision is made, and Data collected and not collected for the field by field detail.Where to start
